I've just been having inner visualisations of things like lizard species that capture prey by ejecting a tongue so as to glue a fly to it or whatever …
^And we contribute these images in order to facilitate the directing of the mind in a particular direction. In this instance that constitutes the consideration of a species foreign and tending towards the unacceptable to this particular mind. And the consideration of such species with independent eye movement, which implies the formation of independently functioning hemispheric lobes, hence a brain construction of developmentally earlier configuration than the human, still functional and entirely adequate in the natural world. And we do this to emphasise that all species are more or less stable in their design features, even though a path can be tracked in developmental terms whereby the attributes of one species are translocated into a somewhat different configuration within a different species and determinable from it by that configuration, be it of whatever faculty. For it is important to recall that every species without exception has its attendant spiritual associate and for very good reasons. That reason, as we will reiterate again, is to gather information directly from the field of activity engaged in or experienced by the member of the species in question.
The purpose of it is to direct appropriate change, should that be necessary, by reference to the ecological niche and its transformation over time. And so this aspect, of the incorporated design updating based on information flows and accumulation into stable form over long periods of time in the particular environment in question (and we use environment in that sense in its broadest terms), is to enable a self-modulating and self-developing community of life, interacting one part with another and with the nature of nutrient flows and energy flows within the planet, responding to population pressure changes in both positive and negative ways such as to house a complex web of life, one part interacting with another.
The development of such a web of life is a long-term goal. Perturbations arise locally for a variety of reasons, but when perturbation occurs on a global scale there are opportunities to observe that, opportunities to interact with that, opportunities to analyse that and intellectual opportunities to understand it.
The next step is a collaborative opportunity on the global scale to address the results of analysis. And then to make conclusions as to what if any change is required as a means by which to encompass it and respond to it.
The issue in question at this time of course is that of the spread of humans across the face of the planet - the consequent change of environmental conditions introduced by them such as to impact upon most alternative species. This has become the responsibility of the global population of humans by which to enumerate and clarify the degree of that environmental change by them and to develop policy by which to mitigate the change.
There are many other degrees of response possible. Such other responses constitute an elective choice made in awareness. It is neither a given nor mandatory that such elective options be either selected or acted upon. In that sense, the bulk of life on the planet is contemporarily being held to ransom by the surge in population of its human constituent.
Occasionally a planet comes into this category of dominance by a particular species and there are a wide variety of choices available to such populations depending on their biology, self awareness and goodwill. These are typically long term changes and the awareness concerning the detail and magnitude of such change can itself become a meme within that population, or not.
The urges towards population development are such that it is inherently contradictory and a causative factor for inner disharmony and discontent and a requirement for considerable magnitude of concern, before any change can be effectively introduced such as to reverse the conditions leading to the success of any dominating population.
A prerequisite is generally effective communication between all parties. And we note that on this planet intercommunication technology is such as to enable many individuals to connect to any other. But not all and not yet. Therefore the patterns of knowledge, patterns of concern, communications dependent upon such elements, the distrust from less developed towards more developed communities on the basis that development is associated by high level and widely distributed communication tools as well as the necessities of survival, mean that these imbalances in optimal development can be the basis for widespread resistance against the continued expansion for dominance, one population subset against another. It is exactly because of probable resource wars leading to ongoing instability amongst community on one part of the planet in relation to another that we consider there to be many centuries yet required for any sufficiently well informed population subset to have the accumulated wisdom and well developed internal communication by which to address this issue on a voluntary basis down to the level of every individual participant in those populations such as to constrain the fecundity of the human.
Therefore be under no illusions that the things we say to you and through you will be taken any account of in the short term, for this is vanishingly improbable! Nevertheless it is another voice directing reason to prevail. In the face of survival necessity, let alone simple greed, there is no existent basis yet for contemporary contentment. That means that that entire spectrum of natural diversity of species is under threat. We would add our voice to those already raised in these concerns and point out that the efforts made by concerned individuals will need to be redoubled if a truly effective response is to be generated such as to prevent the demise of unacceptably large numbers of species representing thousands of millennia of development in their populations.
It is pointless and useless to raise these concerns within impoverished populations starved of the necessities of life. And by that we mean adequate food, adequate liquid, adequate shelter against in many instances, harsh and unforgiving climates.
So there is a balance to be aspired for whereby every individual member of any human population can legitimately request from their community and its associated communities that the necessities of life be provided for. This is necessarily balanced by an understanding that population pressure brings its own discontents as well as its own rewards. And when the discontent is of such a nature as to further impoverish the local environment then the population pressure of the human is exceeded.
So when an understanding of the natural balance between human as resource consumer and human as resource contributor is understood and the limits to growth of the human population as a whole is understood in relation to the equal rights of every species other than human, then some greater confidence can be attributed to a restoration of natural balance of the web of life of which the human is a part. For it is already far from balance and is best returned to that.
We decline to put a population number to that condition of balance apart from indicating that it is a small fraction of even the contemporary population.
So having added our voice to the hubbub of concern emanating from the environmental movement (interrupted by phonecall) As we were saying, the response of the human is unlikely to accumulate into decisive magnitude for several centuries. That does not preclude the enthusiastic and even vigorous attending to such issues, the expression of such concerns, the raising of the political level of influence by the demonstrated culpability of the human implicated in environmental change on the broadest scale. And that has begun.
The contribution of the human by resource depletion to changed global conditions is such as to make it unmistakably plain that the infestation of the human over the surface of the planet has become sufficiently invasive or pervasive to represent a valid concern of international proportions.
We merely wish to add our voice to this expression of concern and provide a context within which all such change can be understood. It is naturally developmental, as in the case of every population which exceeds its environmental capacity. To predict and map and observe the decline consequent upon such population dynamics is to provide a template by which to guide future global population decision-makers. They do not exist yet and will not in any effective way for several centuries. Nevertheless the record of this event is best archived on the human level by future historians so as to have unequivocal knowledge that the success of the human can be excessive in population terms, whereby the capacity for making alternative choices is eliminated.
Such a runaway condition as has been generated will hold emotional impacts of great difficulty upon many classes of individuals in the existent and future populations.
P Looks like that's it.
